Rose Realty Group is a locally owned real estate firm proudly serving Burlington and the surrounding communities. Our clients receive personal, responsive service from experienced local brokers who are there from the first conversation through closing — and long after the transaction is complete.

We handle residential, commercial, land and development real estate — from homes and investment properties to acreage, commercial opportunities and land for future development. Based in Alamance County, we proudly serve clients throughout the Triad, Triangle and surrounding areas of North Carolina.

The firm is led by its broker-in-charge, Holly Rose — the 2026 President of the Burlington Alamance County Association of REALTORS®, and its 2023 REALTOR® of the Year. For moves beyond this part of the state she keeps a network of experienced referral brokers across the country.

Today Holly works alongside her daughter, Katie Murray, and REALTORS® Harlie Oliver and Vonda Lewis — a team built on experience, relationships and a shared commitment to looking after the people who call.

Katie is an Alamance County native. She graduated from Western Alamance High School in 2015 and earned her B.S. in Communication Studies, with a minor in Dance, at Appalachian State University. Alongside helping clients with their real estate needs, she teaches dance to high school students in the Alamance-Burlington School System. In her free time she is with family and friends, or walking her dog, Blue, around the neighborhood — and she welcomes your calls about current and future real estate needs.

What areas do you cover?

Alamance County first — Burlington, Elon, Graham, Mebane, Gibsonville, Haw River, Snow Camp and Saxapahaw — and the neighboring counties: Guilford, Caswell, Person, Randolph and Orange. Holly is also a licensed broker in South Carolina.

Can I work with a particular agent?

Of course. Every agent has their own page with a direct line and a message form that goes straight to them. Not sure who to ask? Message the office and Holly will make the introduction.

What is a due diligence fee?

In North Carolina a buyer pays the seller a due diligence fee for the right to inspect, appraise and arrange financing during an agreed period, and can walk away for any reason before it ends. The fee is generally not refundable; the earnest money is a separate deposit. How much to offer depends on the house and the market that week, and that is exactly the conversation to have first.

Do you handle land and commercial property?

Yes. Rose Realty Group works residential, commercial, land and development, and Holly is a Director of the local Realtors® Commercial Alliance.

How do I find out what my home is worth?

Ask for a valuation. It is built from what has actually closed near you rather than from an automated estimate, and nothing is attached to it.
